GUSSA Fried Egg Rice Bowl

Day-old rice, two crisp-edged eggs and GUSSA over everything. The ten-minute bowl for the nights you are not cooking.

Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked rice, ideally day-old
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp neutral oil
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp GUSSA
- 1/2 avocado, sliced
- 1/4 cup quick-pickled cucumber
- 1 scallion, sliced
- Toasted sesame seeds
Method
- Warm the rice with the soy sauce and put it in a bowl.
- Heat the oil in a small pan over high heat. Fry the eggs until the whites are crisp at the edges and the yolks still run.
- Slide the eggs onto the rice.
- Arrange the avocado and cucumber around them.
- GUSSA over the top, then scallion and sesame.
Tips
- Quick pickle: cucumber slices, 1 tbsp vinegar, a pinch each of salt and sugar, 10 minutes.
